A taxa de filtração glomerular (TFG) e a albuminúria são fatores de risco para doença cardiovascular (DCV) e marcadores de função renal. Com o objetivo de examinar a contribuição da TFG estimada (eTFG) e da relação albumina urinária-creatinina (RAC), além dos fatores de risco cardiovascular tradicionais, para a classificação de risco para desfechos cardiovasculares e renais, Clase e colaboradores, da Universidade de Toronto, Canadá, realizaram estudo publicado recentemente.
